The Barcelona Internship Program housing is located in the beautiful and peaceful outskirts of Barcelona with easy access to the excitement of the city center. The housing is located only 20 kilometers from the city of Barcelona. Travel between the campus and the Catalonian capital is fast and fluid, thanks to the public transport and motorways network. The Vila Universitaria (UAB) Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona features totally furnished apartments, complete with equipped kitchen, internet access, beds, desk, and linens, while the campus offers brand new gym facilities, volleyball courts and much more.

Meals

During your stay you will be provided with breakfast and dinner at Hotel Serhs Campus Restaurant.

Transportation

Our Barcelona participants will receive an 8 week pass that will give you access to unlimited rides for travel with public transportation in Barcelona: Metro, Bus, FGC Trains (Ferrocarriles de la Generalitat). Not included in the program is: Transportation to and from the program.

24/7 Onsite Staff Assistance

On-site staff is dedicated to delivering a high-quality experience to enable both your professional and personal growth. Staff members will serve as your program guides, leading you to program events as you become accustomed to the city. They will be available at all times to ensure your summer in the city is as safe as possible.

Security

The Barcelona housing is a modern building, integrated in an open-nature environment on UAB campus. Security measures have been carefully designed to ensure our clients' safety. Only residents access the building and its common areas with their apartment keycard. This prevents access to strangers or outsiders in the area. Each block entrance has a different encoding, so the residents of other buildings on campus cannot enter the building without its inhabitants' permission. Access to the building, through the main plaza entrance and emergency exits, is controlled by video surveillance. In addition, surveillance cameras were installed that cover all the residential areas as well.
