Summer Internship Housing
The Barcelona Internship Program housing is a prime location to enjoy all that Barcelona has to offer. The housing is located only 20 kilometers from the city of Barcelona. Travel between the campus and the Catalonian capital is fast and fluid, thanks to the public transport and motorways network.
The Vila Universitaria (UAB) Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona features totally furnished apartments, complete with equipped kitchen, wireless internet connection, bed, and linens.
This prime housing location allows students to surround themselves with the charm of the laid back local community while having unique natural views of the countryside.

Security
The Barcelona housing is a modern building, integrated in an open-nature environment on UAB campus. Security measures have been carefully designed to ensure our clients' safety. Only residents access the building and its common areas with their apartment keycard. This prevents access to strangers or outsiders in the area. Each block entrance has a different encoding, so the residents of other buildings on campus cannot enter the building without its inhabitants' permission. Access to the building, through the main plaza entrance and emergency exits, is controlled by video surveillance. In addition, surveillance cameras were installed that cover all the residential areas as well. Additionally, there will be three on-site staff members to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
After completing the placement process, participants will be able to complete a roommate questionnaire to appropriately match like-personalities. Rooms are laid out as doubles.
